As a medical biller, I was always interested in the way data and technology could be leveraged to improve healthcare outcomes. I was fascinated by the power of data analytics to drive performance improvement and enhance patient care, and I knew that I wanted to be a part of this transformative movement.

Over time, I began to explore opportunities to expand my knowledge and expertise in healthcare data management and analysis. I took courses in medical coding and auditing, and I pursued certifications in these areas. I became a certified professional coder (CPC) and a certified coding specialist (CCS), and I gained extensive experience in healthcare data management and analysis.

As I progressed in my career, I began to take on leadership roles in healthcare organizations. I became the lead coder for a local hospital, where I was responsible for overseeing the coding and billing functions for the entire organization. I developed strategies to optimize coding and billing processes, reduce errors, and improve revenue cycle management.
Through my experiences in healthcare data management and analysis, I became deeply passionate about the power of data-driven healthcare education. I recognized that there was a significant need for high-quality, practical training and education in this area, and I decided to start my own business focused on this mission.

Today, I am the founder and CEO of a healthcare-inspired data advisory firm, where I work with healthcare organizations to provide data-driven solutions and insights. I am also an advocate for data-driven healthcare education, and I have developed a comprehensive training and education program that helps healthcare professionals at all levels develop the skills and expertise they need to succeed in this rapidly-evolving field.

Through my journey from medical biller to lead coder and healthcare data expert, I have come to appreciate the tremendous potential of data-driven healthcare to transform the way we deliver and manage healthcare services. I am excited to be a part of this movement, and I look forward to continuing to drive innovation and progress in this dynamic and rapidly-changing field.
